The NCRI has today published its 2022 Annual Statistical Report: Cancer in Ireland. 1994 – 2020. Over 50% increase in numbers of cancer survivors compared with a decade ago.

The recognition is based on direct feedback from employees, provided as part of an extensive and anonymous survey about the workplace experience.

The report entitled Breast, cervical and colorectal cancer 1994-2019: National trends for cancers with population-based screening programmes in Ireland, focuses on cancer incidence, mortality, stage and survival for patients diagnosed with female breast cancer, cervical cancer and colorectal cancer.

This external validation is a big milestone on our journey as we continue to build our employee health and wellbeing framework.

These statistics are consistent with those published in the most recent NCRI annual statistical report but allow more detailed querying, for example by individual year, county of diagnosis and age-group.

The National Cancer Registry (NCRI) today published its Annual Report & Financial Statement 2021. The Report covers the period from 1st January until 31st December 2021, and describes the performance and operation of the National Cancer Registry during 2021
